The Invisible Druid Order

The Invisible Druid Order (IDO) is an instructional organization bringing Druidic disciplines to the modern world. The term “invisible” refers to the principle that Druids of the IDO are known not for their Druidic training but for their character and social responsibility.

Karl Schlotterbeck, MA, CAS, LP, is the visible founder of the IDO and preparer of its materials and lessons, with the help of senior students. He is a licensed psychologist and school psychologist, with special training in stress management, biofeedback, hypnotherapy, and past-life therapy.
He has been a student of shamans (core, Celtic, Mongolian and American Indian), Rosicrucians and Sufis.
He is an initiate of the Reformed Druids of North America, a graduate of the Druid grade of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, and an initiate in the Ring of the Oak of the Henge of Keltria.
His publications are listed elsewhere on this site.

Three things make a Druid of the modern world: training of the mind, a reverence for Nature and its Source, and social responsibility.
